As an old alum, I've been popping in irregularly to these sims since they were established. I always wondered why no one from the university had taken a stab at the lion. I'm glad they commissioned you to do this.
Nice design. For me it represents a cougar that it is endemic of US. that it is powerful, large and powerful. It is hiking to the top with its strong legs.
